Mamachee is a not profit organization that combines dance programs with education and humanitarian projects, and whose goal is to promote unity in diversity and empower youth to develop their capacities through art and leadership development programs.

Our mission is to use arts as a catalyst to inspire people to make a positive impact in their lives, their school and the society.

After a huge success and amazing results in New York, Paris and West Africa; Mamachee is now in Sweden to unleash creativity and spark capacities.

Mamachee was founded in 2006 in Niger,West Africa,by Nathalie DISPAGNE upon the belief that each individual is a valuable contribution to society and that united all together we can create a world where everyone is valued, respected and included. Mamachee became a not for profit organization in New York in 2010. Due to a high demand for Mamachee’s programs in Sweden, Mamachee became a Swedish not for profit organization since 2014. Through various programs, our goal is to stimulate people to reflect and respond creatively and actively to social issues and inspire the desire to work together through positive social change.

 

Mamachee means “Listen up” in jerma,one language of Niger.This name call people to pay attention to the situation of our world today and how they can positively change it.
