Aissata's success story
We are so proud of our girl Aïssata that succeeded in her Studies and received her High School diploma this year( GED-Baccalauréat)!!
In Niger it is a very difficult diploma to obtain for girls ( in 2020 8.385 girls obtained this degree compared to 15.974 boys)
How immensely proud of her we are! She demonstrated tenacious efforts and will power despite all the difficulties: not having the financial resources to finance her education, starting school at a late age and having to do many extra classes to get to the level, walking to school through the heat long distance everyday, and on top this last year (who was the most important to obtain her degree )was challenged by Covid 19 pandemic that forced schools to close down for a while.
Oh how strong she is!! Such an example in life!
Thanks to all our dance programs, shows, classes and fundraising, We have been able to sponsor her education since 7 years!!
Aïssata sent us a letter to ask for more financial support to continue her studies in higher education that can grant her a good job in the future. She has shown so much good will and efforts all these years that We naturally and happily decided to support her again for 2 more years!!
She has now started her studies at the prestigious ESCAE school for trade and administration of companies ( L’Ecole Supérieure de Commerce et d’Administration des Entreprises) in Niamey in GRH which is management of Human Resources. (BTS)
This is a promising major and is constantly evolving and offering good job opportunities in Niamey.
We wish her good luck for this year and we are hoping to be able to sponsor her next year again to get her diploma. For this purpose stay tuned for our next fundraisers in 2021!

This year again our organization were able to support the education of our 2 girls: Safiatou and Aïssata!!
We have increased our donation this year to be able to give them all the chances to succeed in their last year of High School,obtain their High School diploma and prepare their future.
Our donation includes: School fees, books, homework help and extra lessons in French, Maths and Philosophy, but as well some career counseling sessions from a specialized office to help them finding future studies and work.
Thanks to all our dance classes/shows fundraisers that helped us raised this money to support them and of course thanks to all our generous donators.
Together we can change lives and inspire!
May we be able to continue this humble initiative.

Good news!
For this school year 2018/2019 we have been able to continue sponsoring Yasmina’s education for the 7th consecutive year... But also to sponsor her 3 other siblings!
Mamachee is now helping this beautiful family to pursue their education at the Lyçée Enoch Olinga in Niamey ( Niger 🇳🇪) with whom a sponsoring partnership has been established.
Because of your generous donations and the help of Lyçée Enoch Olinga; Yasmina, Nabil, Moubarak & Halimatou can continue their studies.

This year again,and for the 5th consecutive year, our organization were able to send our 3 girls to school in Africa through our Mamachee Education project in Niger. 👧🏿👧🏾 🇳🇪 📖
Thanks to many of our dance performances,Workshops,classes and other dance charity events, we were able to raise money to continue their education!!
In a country were the literacy rate for girls is very low, our girls worked really hard to get good grades and we are so proud of them! 💪🏽
Yasmina is now entering her 2nd year of middle school in École Alliance in Niamey.
Safiatou and Aïssata successfully obtained their “BEPC” diploma and just started their first year of high school in Lyçée Hampaté Ba!!
We would like to thank all the dance schools,public schools,business owners and generous sponsors and donators that helped us reached our goal. We are forever grateful! 🙏🏼
It is not over! The challenge continues as our goal is to support them for their full education!

We are so happy to announce that this year again we will be able to send our 3 girls to school in Niger with the MAMACHEE EDUCATION PROJECT!! 🙌😀
Thanks to all our dance performances, workshops and fundraisers that helped raising money to continue their education.
Here's some pictures of them taken few months ago in their schools.
Safiatou and Aissata on the left are now on their last year before high school ( 3ème class at Collège Hampaté Ba with Les Amis de Hampaté Ba organization in Niamey); and Yasmina on the right is starting her 1st year of middle school ( 6ème class in École Alliance School in Niamey). We have been sending them to school since 4 years and They are so grown now!!
So many people from all around the world came to help and celebrated with us the MAMACHEE 10 YEARS JUBILEE!! 🎂
The money we collected helped for this year but also for 2 more years to come for Safiatou and Aissata!!

We are so honored to invite Mr SPEX BOOGIE, Hip hop dance legend and pioneer from New-York, teach an Hip Hop dance workshop and hip hop lecture for our organization.
His dance credits includes: MARIAH CAREY, LAURYN HILL, WYCLEF,HOUSE DANCE CONFERENCE and many more...
One of our goal with the MAMACHEE CULTURAL AND HUMANiTARIAN DANCE SCHOOL and the MAMACHEE CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM is to share the culture. His skills in Hip Hop dance and his knowledge in Hip hop history is so valuable and we are so glad to have him share his culture with us!
This is the 5th event to celebrate our MAMACHEE 10 YEARS JUBILEE in collaboration with the amazing MARIJAZZ DANSSKOLA!!
Part of the proceeds will go to the MAMACHEE EDUCATION PROJECT to send children to school in Niger.
We complete the circle: exactly 10 years ago in 2006 when MAMACHEE was founded, Spex was one of the first one to support the organization and helped raising money for African disadvantaged children. What an amazing way to celebrate this 10 years anniversary and having him back to help!

We are immensely happy to announce that this 2016 year will mark the 10 years anniversary of MAMACHEE not-for-profit organization!!!
The goal of MAMACHEE is to combine dance with education /humanitarian projects and promote Unity in Diversity.During this 10 years we have been dancing,performing,teaching dance classes,holding various development and artistic programs, and providing education for disadvantaged children in Africa.
We have been working internationally in various cities and countries: Niger, New-York, Paris, Haiti, Ivory Coast, Sweden...
Big thanks to all the amazing people in all these countries who made it possible: dancers,musicians, teachers,owners,producers,donators, supporters,believers...
We are extremely humble and grateful right now...
Helping and inspiring others to develop capacities through art and loving humanity is Mamachee's call.Our only goal in mind was to help these African children to get the education they deserve and work for the unity of humanity and the betterment of the world. We are nobody special in this world to accomplish this task but We believe We all have a valuable and positive contribution to make on this earth,each of us in a very unique and different way.
